My special education students are struggling readers. Their disabilities can create challenges in reading. My students need an environment where they will not be distracted. Rather an environment that will allow them to be focused, and comfortable. This reading nook will transport my middle schoolers through their books to another world. A world where hopes and dreams will come alive through their books. My students can travel anywhere in the world in one day through their book. I want my sweet students to discover a love for reading! Reading is an important academic skill they need for the rest of their lives.
