My school operates on a block schedule; we have 4 90 minute classes each day. In a 90 minute class, my students get restless VERY quickly. Many students (with and without ADHD) often feel the need or impulse to get out of their seat and move around to maintain focus. They quickly fell in love with bouncy foot bands that they have had to share among 25+ students, and are often asking for their turn with the bands the next day. My students need an outlet for their energy, so they are able to maintain their focus and attention throughout the day! Using foot and hand fidgets can significantly increase their ability to maintain interest in our curriculum and activities.
