This academic year, I am providing speech and language services both online and in-person. My job is rewarding but it has its challenges, especially with online learning. The shift in education requires me to constantly adapt my lesson plans and materials. Keeping my students engaged and attentive during teletherapy sessions is also a concern. The Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards will give me access to resources that support my students both virtually and in school. I will use these resources in therapy and share them with my students and their families so that learning can continue at home. The headphones will be sent home with my students so they can minimize distractions during therapy. My students are great kids and anything we receive will be put to good use. Thank you!
