My school population is 100 % free lunch. Many of my students do not have the knowledge of outside materials to contribute to their knowledge of science and technology. Having these STEAM centers in the classroom will help my kids have hands on learning experiences, increase their knowledge, and love of science and technology. The Fairy Tale STEAM bundle will help build literacy as well as science knowledge. I can use the STEAM bundle during literacy block and math block. I can use the STEM Science Stations K-GR 1 to bridge gaps from kindergarten and help build knowledge throughout first grade.
