Scholastic News is a great interactive resource that keeps the students interested and aware of the current events around us! We do not have a school wife social studies curriculum and our resources are limited. My goal is to present material to my students that is interesting and engaging! We will also have the supplies we need for the rest of our core subjects with notebooks, paper, and an easel to make learning together. Each student will have a notebook for reading, writing, and social studies. This will Allow the students to keep their thoughts, ideas, and work in an organized manner. Having an easel will allow me to model a variety of lessons and activities with the students. We are constantly working together to come up with ideas and ways to organize them. The easel will make this process run smoothly for my visual learners.
