Families at my school do not have the funds to supply their children with the necessary resources needed to be successful for the year. By the end of the year, it is typical for teachers to beg other teachers for extra supplies, or spend personal funds to give students the supplies they need. Supplies such as Expo Markers, multicultural crayons, sharpies and other supplies will help the students in my class learn in a comfortable environment where supplies are plentiful. With these supplies, my students will never feel guilty for asking for extra resources. My main goal is to create a comfortable learning environment where students are confident in their abilities; lack of supplies should not stop a child from completing their best work.
