Change classroom photo
Many of my students have been diagnosed with ADHD/ADD. They are having a hard time staying in their seats and focusing for over 10 minutes. This can be detrimental to their reading. I have a third class of 27 students, with only two students reading at grade level. More than 60% of my students read at first grade level. Something needs to change. I am asking for ten Core Slider Gliding Discs and eight Stability Balance Disks. It is crucial that I find a way to help my nonproficient/below level readers focus. My children have faced and are facing so much in their young lives. I want my class to become a change agent. These cushions can help them focus and eventually read better.
