About my class

I teach a group of amazing second graders! They love learning, and are excited to come to school every day! They live in a variety of situations, but once in class, we are a family. We love learning with hands on experiences. We even have an assortment of class pets! Our school is a Leader In Me school. These 7 and 8 year olds are learning to be in control of themselves, work well with others, and take care of their minds, bodies, and spirits. My students are truly superheroes in training, and take their responsibilities seriously. Each of them have a job to do in our class, over and above being good citizens. They understand that they can each have a positive influence on others. We set short term and long term goals to become our very best. My goal as their teacher is to help them believe in their own potential, and achieve what they dream of in life!
