Thank you for visiting this page! I am a Boston Public School teacher at a Title I neighborhood high school in the Sheltered English Immersion program. I teach English Language Learners from China and Central and South America in 11th grade English and 12th Grade ESL. My students, who are recent arrivals to the U.S., work incredibly hard to learn both the content of their Math, Science, English, and History classes, and the academic and conversational English required for success in future colleges and careers. Many of them do so while working many hours a week to support themselves and their families. Technology and level-appropriate texts are hugely helpful in providing access to the content and helping them to build their language skills, as well as critical thinking, creative problem-solving, and the digital literacy skills essential to their success in the U.S. economy. We truly appreciate your support!
