I’m an Exceptional Learner Resource Teacher and co-teach 8th grade math at Fall Creek Valley Middle School in Indianapolis. I have the privilege of supporting a wonderful group of learners with a wide range of strengths, interests, learning styles, and needs. My goal is to create a classroom where every student feels capable, supported, and valued. I love finding the small things that help a student feel successful—whether it’s a hands-on activity, a visual, a new tool, or simply another way to approach a challenging problem. The right resource can turn frustration into confidence and help a student realize, “I really can do this.” Creating those moments is one of my favorite parts of teaching. I’m grateful to everyone who supports our classroom and helps create opportunities for our students to learn, grow, and discover what they are capable of.
