Currently, my classroom has one rectangular table, where I work in small groups with my students. This table is used during our rotations, when students rotate through different activities. One of those stations is used for small group meetings based on assigned groups. I am only able to meet with two students per rotation at my current table, even if the group is larger, meaning I am spending more of my time working with one group, thus limiting the number of students I can effectively meet with each day. I'm asking for a kidney table to better support and work with my students during rotations. A kidney table would allow me to meet with up to five students during a rotation, adding approximately one more hour per day. That's one hour of working closely with my students and giving support to those who need it.
