My students are some of the most amazing 3rd graders! They come to school everyday ready to learn. My school is 100% free and reduced lunch, due to the location and surrounding areas and over half of the students are English Language Learners. However, these students don't let their circumstances define who they are. Every student that walks through my classroom comes with a growth mindset. They understand that they will be challenge to their full potential. Most of the students either reach or exceed their personal goals. One thing that I love about my school is that each and everyone of the students are unique and come with a range of skills and abilities. I can't wait to see what this new year will bring, as we explore various subjects and interests. If one this is sure, my students never cease to amaze me.
