My students are inner city students. Their parents choose to send them to a charter school to avoid large class sizes and violence that is often present in the inner city schools. They are sweet and yearn for the education that some of their parents do not have. For some, school is the only place where they get constant attention without the interruptions of daily life and truly feel like they are special. They have dreams and aspirations and it is my job to help them attain them.
