Storyworks classroom magazine and digital resources feature complex narrative nonfiction, informational texts, and essays that will captivate my students, build knowledge, and increase vocabulary. Each issue of Storyworks includes: quizzes, activity sheets, vocabulary slide shows, and guided- writing essay kits. Storyworks also provide lower-Lexile and audio versions of all the nonfiction stories. Every text is supported by activities and quizzes on multiple levels. Vocabulary slide shows provide ideal visual support for struggling readers & English Language learners. By having Storyworks in my classroom students will be able to identify common themes, compare and contrast, synthesize, and integrate information from two very different texts on one topic or theme.
