Hola! Ni Hoa! Our district has a high ESL/ELL (English as Second Language/English Language Learner) population. We have about 15,000 + students (and counting) that are either newcomers to the United States or has only been in the US for less than 2 years. Needless to say we could use any and all resources we can get to support these English Language Learners. We would like for students to have more access to technology so we can support them through dual language learning. Since we teach K-8th grade, our ESL students really struggle with not only learning a new language but with the vigorous content that they are exposed to everyday. Most of them are at a lost or very confused and unable to complete the work in class because of the lack of content knowledge along with the language barrier. Thank you for your enthusiasm to support ELL's!
