My school's media center serves 800 students in 6-8 grade. We are a low income, Title I school with a multiethnic population. Over 60% of our students are on a reduced price or free lunch. Our library book circulation is very high, and the life span of them is low because of our unique population dynamic. Students and teachers actively use the media center all day long for research, story sharing, and reading practice.
