I teach excel at a Title I school. My students love to learn, especially when they are given choices and provided with a comfortable learning environment. After incorporating a couple of "comfy" chairs and bean bags into my classroom, I realized that my students would get very excited about working when they were able to use the comfortable spots, as well as better able to focus and stay focused since they were not having to fidget in uncomfortable chairs, trying to get comfortable.
