These materials will allow for students to be fully immersed in the scientific process. They provide a three-dimensional approach to learning, in an area where many students live in "two dimensions." It is my hope to help students be engaged in science and explore the beauty that it has to offer. As a marine biology course we will explore the oceans, gasp at the wonders of our blue planet and strive to understand the intricate web of life that exists within these bonds of hydrogen and oxygen. Students will create and observe ocean ecosystems and the interactions between different marine organisms. They will also explore the anatomy of various types of species, some that are not easily accessible to our area.
