The supplies will help encourage diverse learning by at-risk students. Most of the students in this classroom are at risk of not graduating. A lot of them have no interest in school so creative ideas must be enlisted in order to keep their attention for learning. We have a presentation over an "unsung" historical figure that will be due and art supplies will come in handy with their creative process. Instead of just writing words, they will create a colorful story to showcase their figure. If I can stock my supplies and have what students need, I know it will be easier to keep them all engaged! File folders and files will help keep things organized so that students will have all the supplies that they need in class. The art utensils will help them with creative projects that go above and beyond just worksheets or forms in google classroom.
