These materials will help make a difference in my students' learning by giving them books that they can relate to. Students will have a nice cozy reading nook to cuddle up in and read. Most of my students are below grade level in reading so giving them books that interest them will make them more engaged. I would hope that their reading levels could improve at least one whole grade level or more. I would like for them to be successful later in life and break the cycle of poverty. What if they read about an astronaut or veterinarian ?
