Flexible seating allows students to be more focused while learning. Students will be able to take charge of their learning by picking seating based on how they learn best. Students can currently choose their best workplace for independent work and I don't have many options for flexible seating. Many of my students have tons of energy and need an option to release it throughout the day. When students are able to choose their seating for the day, they are more focused, able to wiggle to get their energy out, and are able to complete their work better than others around them without flexible seating. Right now, my students love when it is their turn to choose a seating option for the day because they only get the option to use flexible seating twice a week. All of the seating options are lightweight and can be moved around the room to the best spots for students to work. If my students were able to access flexible seating, their attention and focus would increase allowing them to learn to the best of their ability everyday.
