Welcome to Newport Special School Districts 7th grade art class! The picture is a small group of girls that were in my art last year. We had a lot of good days in that classroom and are reluctant to let it go this coming year when we switch rooms. We have made the classroom our art studio by decorating it with color wheel murals, splatters, geometric shapes, posters and personal artwork. The new room that we are moving into is in a building that is part of the historical foundation and I do not want to deface it in any way. However, I do want it to have the same creative atmosphere. I would like for it to have lots of art visuals and I would also like to have at least four studio stations so that students will have the opportunity to explore, create and build skills in the mediums best suited to them. Please donate to help make our new art room great for our students!
