The items requested like Life Skill DVD Series, Connections in the Workplace Introductory Kit, Real World Social Skills will be used on a daily basis with students who are learning how to survive independently in their community. Many people take for granted their ability to order through the drive-thru, go grocery shopping, etc. My students need explicit instruction (and lots of practice) on how to perform these "simple" tasks. Your contribution will impact my students for years to come. Your generous donation will guarantee their independence and quality of life. They will feel an immense sense of pride the first time they complete a trip to the grocery store....all by themselves! We all deserve independence.
