The 31 students in my classroom come from rich and diverse backgrounds in culture, language, home life, and economic status. This classroom consists of a 50% English Language Learners and 50% Spanish Language Learners. The students work with two or more teachers throughout the day receiving instruction in English and Spanish in mathematics, literacy, social studies, science, technology, and social emotional learning. Students receive instruction in small and whole groups that are carefully planned to best meet their instructional needs.
