In our post-COVID quarantine educational setting, my students are having difficulty with in-person school attendance, focusing on their academics and have gaps in their soft skills, such as communication and relationship skills. Some have had to gain employment during the last two years of online learning to help support their family and their education have become of less priority. Providing tangible incentives to my students will help to motivate them to come to school regularly, focus more on their academics and grades and exhibit more positive appropriate behaviors with their peers. Students would be nominated by their teachers for their improvements in various categories and those achieving the most nominations in multiple categories will be rewarded with incentive prize items. As a result, attendance and graduation rates would improve school-wide.
