I work at a public elementary school in rural SC. Approximately 420 students attend grades prek-5 at our school. The students come from a wide range of socio-economic and educational backgrounds. I am part of a team of 4 third grade teachers. Together we team teach a total of 75 students. We spend our school days making learning applicable to the real world through hands-on, authentic learning experiences guided by our state curriculum standards.
