Our 6th Grade is made up of 100 energetic students who come to our public school eager to learn each day. They represent the cultural and ethnic diversity of our home city, including many first-generation immigrants who are the first members of their families to attend school. The class reflects the approximately 90% low-income status of the school's entire student body. They are hard working, engaged, and thoughtful children that I am grateful to know.
