These materials will help students share their thinking and have hands-on learning. The whiteboards will be used during our Phonics time so that students can share their thinking and write so that students can see. A lot of my students do not have access to the basic supplies, such as paper and pencils, thus if students get those necessary supplies they can then really take off in their learning. They can write more and truly engage in their learning. My students are first graders who are learning to read and write.
