To bring my students into the 21st century, these Chromebooks will provide them with access to educational programs. Although we have two desktop computers, a limited number of students are able to work at one time. The goal with the Chromebooks is to have a small group of students working at a technology station to build academic and technological skills. They will use the headphones to be able to work independently without distracting others. When the students are doing great work or there needs to be clarification on an activity, an HDMI connector would be used to connect the Chromebook to our Promethean board. Most of my students do not have the ability to use any kind of technology in their homes. School is the only place they have the opportunity to build educational and technological skills their peers have acquired through their use of technology.
