My Kinders come from a variety of backgrounds. Many did not attend pre-school and did not learn to write and say the alphabet or numbers. This greatly reduces their chances of success at this formative stage. To ensure the success of ALL of my students, I want to set up an interactive letters and numbers station where Kinders will practice writing, saying and hearing each letter and number. The requested kits allow kids to "catch up" on these skills without slowing down their progress in other areas. The interactive number and letter sets allow students to practice identification of letters and numbers while also hearing the sound of each. This immediate reinforcement will help close the gap in my classroom.
