If this project is fully funded, students fom 8th grade all the way down to our Kinders would have the opportunity to play an instrument. Older upper grade students would be motivated to learn to read music. This encourages a love of music. Our second goal is to build our students confidence. Many children struggle with traditional subjects like reading or math. Music is an opportunity for them to develop a talent they can be proud of and share with others. A class set of these instruments would allow for 100% student engagement. It creates the stage for hands-on interactive learning!
