The classroom dividers that we have requested, will make our learning environment even better for the students. With different personalities and learning abilities, it can be hard for some of our students to focus because of sensory overload. As of now, our classroom is large, with little space that students can call their own. Some students find it hard to focus on the task in front of them because of something or someone that is visually distracting for them. These students need an area that is separate from everyone else, that will help limit distractions. Your donation to this classroom will assist in helping the students meet their individualized goals. Students will now be able to focus on the task at hand. The magnetic letters, transportation carpet and sensory items are the small things that will make this learning environment even better for our little learners. As a first year teacher, I am starting off this year with very little material. We need your support to help us grow by allowing us to explore different activities and to change our classroom set-up so that we can cater to our group of learners!
