I teach 3rd grade in immigrant inner-city Los Angeles. Our school is located directly beneath the Los Angeles International Airport flight path and next to one of the busiest freeways in the country, the 405 fwy. My goal is to create cadres of students who approach life with a can do attitude to spread peace and love while knowing that the keys to life lie in achieving high levels of literacy for themselves and their community.

About my class
