Reading for enjoyment is an integral part of developing lifelong readers. These books will help me to create a print-rich classroom where all students will be able to read independently on their level. When students are able to choose texts that are interesting to them they read more closely, the result is improved reading levels. I want my students to enjoy their classroom library and discover the love of reading while building their reading level and skills. Providing an interesting and varied selection of books and texts in the classroom will provide enjoyment and improve student achievement in literacy.
