My school is located in central North Carolina in an area that has been hit with the loss of jobs in tobacco, furniture and textiles. It is in a rural area where many students' future plan is attend the local community college and then finish at a 4 year school. There are many readers who come in to check out books on a regular basis and I would like to support them with a dynamic Book Club that lets kids who read "find" and encourage each other. There has been a strong interest shown by the kids and we need texts for a large number so that all can be included.
