"There are many little ways to enlarge your child's world. Love of the books is the best of all." ~Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Our Title I school is located in a close-knit, rural community near Syracuse, New York. Many of the families at our school have been in the school district for generations. Agriculture is an important part of the local economy, as apple orchards flourish on the rolling hills. My kindergarten students' learning styles and needs are as diverse as their backgrounds, but they all have the yearning to be successful. With all the different learning styles, differentiated lessons are a must. They love participating in literacy activities and collaborating with their peers. Crafts help to bring their learning to life through their imaginations.
