The biggest struggle I am having with the flipped classroom is the availability of technology to all learners. Being a Title 1 Focus school, we have many students who are low income and free and reduced lunch. I would like to provide the flipped classroom to ALL learners, and not just those with the means. With a few iPads in my classroom, I will finally be able to reach all of my students through this use of technology. This will also help all students regardless because they would have the availability to re-watch a video or look up a specific part of a video in case they have trouble with the work in class. This encourages each student to take charge of his/her own learning and really develop the metacognition necessary to continually assess oneself.
