Our goal is to encourage a love of reading and learning by putting great books into the hands of our students! Most of our students don't have the opportunity to visit a library outside of the school. This inspired us to start a Buddy Book program for our young students! Our Buddy Book program gives each student a library book bag, and the opportunity to choose a new book to read EVERY DAY. The bag gives our students a special place to tuck their library books safely. The students decorate the book bag to make it their own special creation! This fantastic program means our students are taking home a new book to read EVERY DAY with their family! Our small book collection is quickly becoming worn! We would love to have a selection of new books for the students to browse and read! We have chosen some great beginning readers, picture books and nonfiction titles that our students will be excited about reading!
