My students are enthusiastic first graders and excited about learning Mandarin and the culture. They are in the Mandarin Immersion program and learning almost everything in Mandarin. Many of my students will thrive and be motivated when the lessons are integrated with visuals. It is too difficult to do that with only posters. With a Multimedia projector, students will be able to see authentic stories, digital curriculum resources, and videos, which will help them connect to their prior knowledge and integrate new vocabulary.
