Currently, my school is participating in both in-person and virtual learning, with about one half of our population choosing to learn from home full-time. An iPad will allow me the opportunity to create content outside of the classroom (aka screen recording) because of it's portability and capabilities. Lesson recordings are confined to what can be done on our computers in the classroom, but our students deserve more creative experiences! Not only that, but there are many apps and features that can be included to make sure that students are getting the most out of their virtual instruction. It is important to connect learning to the real world. Sometimes, that means getting on students' level and implementing things that they find interesting outside of school. I am so excited about the possibility of being able to provide fun, engaging content that will also help me connect to my students that are not physically in my classroom!
