Hi! My name is Lidia and I'm a prek teacher. Everyone knows that my job isn't work, it's what I love and that's why I'm known as Lids4kids! This year "STEAM" has become an important part of our curriculum and as a result, I have found myself searching for ways to open my students' creative minds. I've collected a lot of homemade materials such as cans, boxes, empty containers, and paper rolls and used them to create "ephemeral art", 3D sculptures and many hands-on art. The stem bundle along with the engineering centers and other items requested will allow the students to enhance their problem solving skills and become little engineers, architects and my fave, little scientists! The parent bundle stem package will allow students to continue learning at home and add parent involvement which is a crucial part of children learning. I am currently teaching my kids about the "weather" and my room is full of questions like, "Where does the water go when it rains?" and instead of answering, I love hands-on activities and would benefit from a lot of the materials needed. Any donation will be greatly appreciated and used! Blessings from our class!
