Hello, I teach first and second graders in a Language/Learning Disabled self contained class in Trenton NJ. I have 15 energetic and curious students with disabilities including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, as well as other health impairments. Many of my students are newcomers to this country and are learning English. Many have roots in Trenton and have been historically under resourced. Since a child’s zip code currently aligns with what a student receives in our system, history remains little changed. Donors Choose can help equalize this situation. As a donor you can contribute to the American ideal that free public education is a great equalizer! Simple things like pencils and books and slime are impactful daily. Thanks for donating to our class.
