My students face difficulties at home and at school. They have had behavioral difficulties in their regular classroom or school and are in need of extra support. I have a short period of time during their stay in my classroom to provide intensive behavior and social skills support. Every single school day, I engage my students in interactive character education lessons. These materials will help me to reach the wide range of learners I have in my classroom. The sensory tools will help the students to stay more engaged with learning and to self-regulate their emotIons and behavior. I believe literacy is an incredible way to teach social-skills/behavior as well as meet the requirements of the academic standards.
