The amazing first, second, and third grade students in my class are hard working, independent learners. They come from diverse backgrounds and have a wide variety of academic needs. My students spend their morning work period completing common core assignments and reinforcing concepts with Montessori materials. The mixed age group allows for each child to be both student and teacher as they help each other learn. I am amazed at the kindness and patience they show each other. I am honored to work with them every day.
