These books will serve 2 purposes: independent reading and instructional reading. I will be able to support students' individual needs by providing appropriate and engaging texts that will help them build reading skills. They will be able to build phonemic awareness, fluency, comprehension and overall become phenomenal readers. Additionally students will be able to select texts that excite them about reading off our own classroom shelf. Students will be able to confidently select, read, and reflect the book that they selected independently. These books will not only help my students build their minds, they will help build a better world for my students.

About my class
