My students love art; it's a place where they can feel safe to create and learn how to make things they never knew they could work with. I strive to give them as many opportunities to try new things as I possibly can. When it comes to student interests, I do my best to give them the necessary tools. If a student wants to learn to crochet, I do the research to help them try this craft. If a student wants to get better at drawing faces, I offer them resources and suggestions to get them there. In my art room "we can't," isn't in our vocabulary. "We will try and learn" is how we move forward!
