Help prepare my students for the real world by helping them keep up with changing technologies. Students at our school are "housed" in small learning communities, also known as a school-within-a-school. Our campus currently has over 1900 students and the Arts & Communication pathway is the largest population on campus. Students in our pathway have common interests in either Digital Media, Graphics or Fashion. Due to the expansion of our pathway we offered a new course this year called arts and communication entrepreneurship. My students learn through real world experiences while working with actual clients in school as well as in the community. Students in my classes are highly engaged and love to create new things using different technologies. Take a walk into my classroom and you will see students creating posters, invitations, logos, banners, t-shirts, stickers and much more.
