Our classroom is a place my students come to learn, have fun, and be themselves. I mean no one likes to sit in a chair all day. Flexible seating is one way that will help my students be themselves. They will have the reigns to choose the best seating environment for them. It will also help with getting the wiggles out of some of my students. We have started using some flex seating in our classroom. My students have done so well with the responsibility. We are excited to take our flexible seating to the next level. The bean bags will be for the students to complete work in or just curl up to read a good book. The wobble stools will be for students who need to wobble to stay focused. We will have the wobble cushions that can be used to sit on the floor while working. The stability balls are another great way to help get the wiggles out, but can also be used to use as a seat.
