STEAM tools and experiences will be used to enrich students creative, collaborative, and problem solving skills. First graders love to build, design, and create when given the opportunity. Magna-Tiles offer a colorful, fun way for students to explore the science of force. Students will use the Magna-Tiles during science and math lessons, indoor recess, as well as for PTO presentations. Magna-Tiles will offer our students opportunities to identify and use shapes they will study in math. Students will also practice force, repelling, and attracting with the magnetic toys. During indoor recess, boys and girls will build various items and participate in dramatic play with the Magna-Tiles. STEAM Magna-Tiles will allow collaborative, imaginative learning during, math class, science class, recess, and more. Our students will be well prepared for the future.
