As an educator, I take my time to learn my students and understand their academic needs. I keep in mind learning styles and preferences when planning and delivering instruction. I strive to make learning fun, interesting and engaging. Students are encouraged to be problem solvers and work cooperatively with others. To promote cooperative work I use teaching strategies such as "Turn-N-Talk", centers, cooperative seating arrangements, partner work and many others. Students express continuously how happy they are to come to school. Parents have also commented on the motivation children demonstrate when coming to school each day. Some of them also add how children miss school and learning during weekends and holidays.
